Energy storage systems (ESSs) are critically important for the future of electric vehicles. Despite this, safety and management ESSs require improvement. Battery (BMSs) vital components in ESS Lithium-ion batteries (LIBs). One parameter that is included BMS state-of-charge (SoC) battery. SoC has become an active research area recent years battery vehicle (BEV) LIBs, yet there some challenges: LIB configuration nonlinear, making it hard to model correctly; difficult assess internal environments a (and this can be different laboratory conditions compared real-world conditions); these discrepancies lead raising instability LIB. Therefore, further advancement required order have higher accuracy estimation BEV LIBs. key feature, precise modeling state will improve stable operation. This review discusses current methods use modelling estimation. The culminates brief discussion challenges prediction analysis.
